What can I say? Anime Expo this year was absolutely amazing! I got the chance to go 3 out of the 4 days and I couldn't have asked for anything better! I tagged along with ~Mikilane and her brother to Expo and we had so much fun!!

Day 1
It fuckin kicked ass!!!!
Went with ~Mikilane and her brother and met up with =Sonicbandicoot and her sis.
I got loads of pictures with my new camera!
My Hinata cosplay kept falling apart, but thanks to Miki and Kenji, it stayed together through the day. Thanks guys!!
Lots of people liked it I guess cuz tons of people took my picture!
Even at one point we had a mob of people taking pictures of me and a guy cosplayed as Pein renacting the fight scene from chapter 437. It was AWSOME!!!
Only bought 2 things. Some art and a emoticon pin.
By the end of the day we were wiped out and we hurt . . . well mostly me

Day 2
Was pretty good.
Miki dressed as Sora from Kingdom Hearts and hers kicked ass! She had the best Sora costume out of the entire Expo. No offense to everyone else. People even thought her wig was her actual hair! Plus she had my awsome keyblde
I was yet again Hinata, but everyone lubs Hinata!
Pictures galore were taken of both of us and I took almost 200 pics the 2nd day.
I bought some more art (of course!) my tail, and a Trigun book that we got signed by the creator and director of the anime/manga. It was soo cool to meet them! We went and sat in our little corner in the west hall like we did the day before and left early since it was the 4th of July. I heard the masquerade wasn't as good?

Day 3 The Final Day
What a day!!!! Miki went as Sora again and I was still Hinata. Kenji cosplayed himself
Since it was a short day, we just kinda wondered around, getting last minute things that we wanted. Kenji decided to wonder around the Exhibit Hall so Miki and I went to the west hall and took some pictures. We ran into a group of cosplayers who wanted 'Sora' to join in the caramelldansen... This guy cosplayed as Sephorth ? was dancing back and forth. So after Miki finished dancing the group started the song again and I jumped in and started dancing.
A while later we were walking around the hall and next thing we know, here comes Sephorth with a boombox playing the caramelldansen and there was a whole line of people behind him doing the dance. So me and Miki joined in and it went on for a little over half an hour. We went from one end of the convention center to the other, up esclators and then right back down the other side. It was the caramelldansen train!!

It was the last day of Expo! We had to do something big!!
We hung out with our friend =Sonicbandicoot and her sister for a little and I ran into my friend Eddie and his girlfriend. I was really happy to be able to see everyone and meet new people

We also went to the closing ceremonies since none of us have ever been. A Charity art action was going on when we got there, so we sat down and watched. An 8x11 sketch signed by the creator of Gundum 00 sold for $3,500 and another sketch sold for $4,700. That's insane money right there!! And after that was over, the closing ceremony started and we got to see almost all the Honored Guests. They're so awsome! They kept saying "We love AX!" the best they could in english. The attendance this year was 44,000 people and Anime Expo still holds the record for the largest Anime/Manga Convention. Then came the time to announce where Expo would be held next year. Someone in the crowd shouted Long Beach then everyone else, including Miki and myself started shouting Anaheim, but we had no such luck. It'll be held in LA again next year. Which sucks, but it'll still be fun! The girl finally announced that Expo was officially over and everyone started awww-ing and boo-ing, but we had so much fun this year and Im soo happy I got the chance to go 3 days this year instead of just 1. Hopefully next year I'll have a car of something, or I just might take the metro and I'll go all 4 days.


I can't wait till AX 2010. There's no way Im staying away from expo It's fucking AWSOMESAUCE!..!!!!!!! DD

On another note, Michael Jackson's memorial was today and it was a wonderful ceremony. Throughout the whole ceremony I was fine until Saheem came on stage and sang "Who's Lovin You" by the Jackson Five and when everyone began singing "We are the World" and "Heal the World" I almost lost it. But then his own daughter came on stage and shared a few words and I lost it. It was the bravest thing Ive seen since MJ kept his kids so protected from the media. I just wanna say Michael may have mad some bad choices, but he was still an amazing influence and no one can deny that he was an amazing singer and an even better dancer. Rest in Peace King of Pop.
